ThruNite was founded in 2009 by David Chen who dropped out of university to pursue a dream of creating LED products. The company was founded in Dongguan, Gungdong, China and is now based in Shenzhen.
ThruNite aim to consistently produce high-quality and affordable products. Since their inception, they have built up a portfolio of products based around AA, AAA, 18650 and CR123 batteries. These range from penlights right through to flood-type flashlights.
Their lights are typically made from aircraft-grade aluminum, with some models featuring IPX8 water-proofing.
The company offers a two-year free-replacement warranty on any defective products, and a limited lifetime warranty for repairs, with the user paying solely for parts and shipping.
